Signal is a Korean drama released in 2016 and stars the famous actress Kim Hye Soo and the two best South Korean actors, Lee Je Hoon and Cho Jin Woong.
The Korean drama which premiered
on tvN on January 22, 2016 has 16 episodes. Drama Signal is an adaptation of a
true story, namely a serial murder case in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, South
Korea in 1986-1991.
The Korean drama Signal tells of
the cooperation of detectives in the past and today in solving rape and murder
cases through walkie-talkies.
Synopsis of Korean drama Signal
begins with Park Hae Young (played by Lee Je Hoon) who works as a detective who
handles many criminal cases.
However, Hae Young is actually
forced to become a detective because of a traumatic event he experienced as a
child. At that time, one of Hae Young's best friends, Yoon Jung, was kidnapped
and later found dead.
Little Hae Young sees a woman
picking up Yoon Jung from school but the police don't believe her testimony.
The case remains unsolved until
Hae Young grows up and becomes a detective at the police station where he
works.
This synopsis of Korean drama
Signal continues when Hae Yong is one day walking out of the office and hears
someone trying to talk to him.
Then he looked for the source of
the sound but he found a walkie-talkie. The voice comes from detective Lee Jae
Han (played by Cho Jin Woong).
Lee Jae Han turned out to be
dead. Jae Han was the first to investigate the murder of Hae Young's friend,
Yoon Jung.
Meanwhile, Cha Soo Hyun (played
by Kim Hyee Soo) is Jae Han's old friend and Hae Young's co-worker.
It didn't take long, Hae Young
ventured to tell Soo Hyun what had happened.
Then, will this trio of detectives
be able to uncover the death of Hae Young's friend Yoon Jung with a
walkie-talkie?
In 2016, Signal was named the
best drama in Korean cable television history. Signal also managed to achieve a
rating of 12.54 percent.
Signal also won the Best Drama
and Best Screenplay awards at the BaekSang Arts Awards in the same year.
Oh My Venus
Oh My Venus is one of many Korean
drama series that tells the story of physical transformation. Broadcast by KBS2
TV station in 2015, Oh My Venus stars two famous South Korean actors, Shi Min
Ah and So Ji Sub. Shi Min Ah once starred in the popular drama My Girlfriend Is

He is jealous of Joo Eun, who used to be very beautiful and idolized by many male students. However, now their situation was reversed. Forecasting Love and Weather is a Korean romantic comedy drama that tells the story of the lives of employees of the Korean Meteorological Agency. The following is a synopsis of the drama Forecasting Love and Weather, starring Park Min-young and Song Kang.
Forescasting Love and Weather tells the story of employees of the Korea Meteorological Agency who face the bittersweets of life every day.
Especially Jin Ha-kyung (Park
Min-young), the Head of the Forecasting Division of the Korea Meteorological
Agency who is always professional in his work and obeys the rules.
Ha-kyung had a date with Han Ki-jun who also worked at the Meteorological Agency. However, they decided to separate after their relationship was known to many people.
After experiencing a heartbreak,
Ha-kyung chooses not to be involved in a romantic relationship at work. So, he
tries to just focus on his work.
However, she then meets Lee Si-woo (Song Kang) who also works at the Korea Meteorological Agency. Si-woo has a different character from Ha-kyung. He is a naive man and is always honest about his feelings. He is also always serious in all things related to the weather. I-woo tries to get close to Ha-kyung who is very cold towards other people. The two of them began to get involved in a special relationship.

However, he feels inferior when he sees Ha-kyung sticking around in the position of Head of the Fortune Telling Division. This feeling makes him often hasty in making decisions. Meanwhile, Yura Girl's Day will act as a reporter in charge of writing news about the weather. She is a confident woman, but she is often pessimistic when criticized by others.
Forecasting Love and Weather is directed by Cha Young-hoon who is known for directing a number of dramas, such as When the Camellia Blooms (2019), Don't Look Back: The Legend of Orpheus (2013), and Bridal Mask (2012).
Forecasting Love and Weather premieres February 12 on jTBC and Netflix
