MISSION POSSIBLE: KIDNAPPING GRANNY K

("Kwon Sun-bun yeosa napchi sageon")
Kim Sang-jin has given us a wide variety in the quality of his movies over the years. His earlier works such as Attack the Gas Station and Kick the Moon contributed to the growing popularity of Korean films domestically. However his more recent movies have failed to attract audiences and seemed to lack creativity. Now, after a three year hiatus following Ghost House, Kim returns with a comedy about a band of less-than professional kidnappers trying to hold onto a very difficult hostage whose ransom is worth of fortune. His latest comedy stars Na Moon-hee (You Are My Sunshine, Crying Fist), Yoo Hae-jin (Tazza, Mapado), Kang Seong-jin (Apt, Two Cops 3), Park Sang-myeon (My Wife Is a Gangster, Baby Alone) and Yoo Geon (Dasepo Naughty Girls). This Another Sunday film will be given a Chuseok holiday release by Cinema Service on September 13.
