Synopsis:
It brought us to Paris and Prague, became a leading franchise in the Korean Wave, and made even bigger stars out of Kim Jung Eun, Park Shin Yang, Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Ju Hyuk. The Lovers series (Lovers in Paris and Lovers in Prague) is one of the few able to maintain its popularity over the years, something which was confirmed once again when the third and possibly final installment, Lovers, recorded ratings of over 25% on its last episode. As a final icing on the cake, Kim Jung Eun, heroine of Lovers in Paris, returns to conclude the series in great fashion. Kim plays Mi Joo, a plastic surgeon who first mistakes gangster Kang Jae (Lee Seo Jin of Damo) for her brother-in-law, and later falls in love with him. Also notable is the return to the small screen of Kim Kyu Ri (Roses and Beansprouts), and another fine performance from Jung Chan (Golden Apple, Road Movie).
In addition to producer Shin Woo Cheol and writer Kim Eun Sook, SBS even brought back the music director of the previous two installments of the Lovers series, Park Se Jun of Love and Ambition and My Lovely Fool. Production was handled by Han Sung Ho, who has worked with Suh Young Eun and SG Wannabe. Other than The Strings, who perform all the instrumental tracks in the album, this OST also features the "Queen of Soundtracks" Suh Young Eun, along with ballad mainstays like Jo Jang Hyuk.
